You’re organizing a raffle for a cause of your choice and you’ve got almost everything done. You’ve got the prizes, you’ve got the publicity going; you’ve got the price of raffle tickets and the date of the drawing all set up. The next thing to do is to order your actual raffle tickets. This may be a bit more complex than it sounds, but with this handy tip guide, figuring out how to order raffle tickets is sure to be a breeze!

There are, of course, your all purpose white background and black text raffle tickets which are good for any sort of raffle you may be having. But perhaps a way to help enhance the number of tickets sold would be to put a little more thought into the presentation of your raffle tickets. It really doesn’t cost any more than the all purpose tickets would, and it helps to set the mood of your raffle. There are themes for literally every kind of raffle you can think of, from formal to informal; sporty to feminine. And if you’re not sure what kind of theme you’d like, you can also find different patterns or colors to add a bit more pizazz without going too specific.

You also need to know what kind of information you’ll be required to have on each raffle ticket. You should definitely have all of the drawing details, such as the name of your organization and the location and time of the drawing. Another good idea is to list the grand prize or the top three prizes in the drawing, to help entice people to purchase tickets. You should also include a ticket number and whether or not any rules apply, such as being required to be present at the time of the drawing. Be sure to have a perforated side that has information you’ll keep for your records, such as the buyer’s name and contact information, as well as the ticket number that coordinates with that stub.
